Stars

It has been quite some time since I looked up at the stars and made a wish.  I am one of those lucky people whose wishes actually do come true and I realized that there is something to be said about being careful of what you wish for.  Well this past weekend was filled with absolute magic and I find myself on the edge of making some very big wishes for my life.  

I would like to share that I had the Best Date of my Life so far.  I have had so many of those spark moments happen over the last four days that I would be crazy not to realize there is a magic transformation taking place right before my eyes.  This transformation is my own life, becoming what it has always meant to be. 

My date was with one of my first crushes, I believe I was 12 years old so it has been 20 years in the making.  He surprised me with flowers, we by chance wore matching shades of green, caught the tail end of a fall sunset, took pictures on the beach, had conversation that flowed effortlessly, dinner at a charming place with elegant lighting, sat at a fire pit overlooking the ocean, under the stars, wrapped in a blanket feeling more comfortable and cozy than any first date possibly could. 

I am grateful for this experience because it has restored my belief and understanding about what is possible.  It has encouraged me to have faith in men and that there are truly great guys out there with values, loyalty, integrity, humor, appreciation of tradition, love of music, driven, adventurous, charming, kind, and drop dead handsome... 

I wish to always remember how alive I have felt the past four days, to live in a state of awareness so that I recognize the signs from the universe, and appreciate the gifts I receive ~
